Welcome to Woodland’s Galactic Blast!  This weeklong VBS experience includes out-of-this-world crafts and music, action-packed recreation games, amazing science activities, and captivating space facts.  It’s a cosmic combination of faith and fun!

Mission Project – Street Eats

We need your help to make our VBS Mission Project a success. We are collecting non-perishable food to make Street Eat Bags. These are bags that will be kept in our cars and handed out to those we see on the street that are hungry and need help.

Have you ever passed someone on the street who was hungry or homeless and wondered how you could help? During our VBS mission project, the children will be preparing bags (street eats). Street eats are gallon-sized Ziploc bags containing convenience foods that can be handed out from your car as the need arises. You can help by donating items and bringing them to church over the next few Sundays. We look forward to being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to those in need in our community.

Donations:

• gallon-sized Ziploc bags
• bottled water
• granola bars
• pop top cans of fruit
• applesauce or box of raisins
• small cans of Vienna sausages
• packaged peanut butter or cheese crackers
• package of cookies or peanuts
• pop top cans of chicken or tuna
• plastic spoons
• napkins
• please -- no chocolate or candy

There will be boxes in both Maresh Hall and the Information Center for collection of these items. Thank you so much for your generosity!!
