CERI (Children’s Emergency Relief International) is a division of Baptist Children’s and Family Services. Woodland members sponsor and provide support for orphaned children and teens in Moldova and Srilanka. Church members, John and Elizabeth Myers have been making mission trips to Moldova at least once or twice a year since December 31, 2006. Mission trips include visiting orphanages and home for the elderly. Distributing food and clothing to flood devastated areas, putting new pairs of shoes and socks on orphans, conducting Bible studies, introducing arts& crafts to the kids, and having fun and games. The Myers have been able to take the children they sponsor on shopping trips and spend time with them on their visits to Moldova.
