Woodland supports the Texas Baptist Men (TBM), and Julie Barnett, Woodland representative says more volunteers are needed. Church members need to attend a basic "yellow cap" training to start helping.
Texas Baptist Men are responding to the fires in Bastrop by cooking 5,000 meals per day for the firefighters and first responders.

You are invited to bring any TBM response unit that has a current unit agreement with TBM. There will be no fee for bringing a unit although you will be asked to register it for the camp before you bring it. We want to make sure there is sufficient space for you to park it and set up.
TBM will not be paying for any costs associated with bringing units to the retreat so look for funding for travel expenses from your local support group.
