Woodland provides information and education about the missions activities of various Baptist organizations and agencies, in addition to providing opportunities to address social, economic, and human needs, both locally and globally. Woodland provides financial support to a variety of organizations such as:
Baptist Child and Family Services, which serves children, youth and families in a variety of ways, such as emergency shelters and foster homes.
The Baptist General Convention of Texas, a cooperative association of Texas Baptist churches who do missions and ministry together.
The Baptist University of the Americas, which Woodland supports with student scholarships, work crews and leadership. Located in San Antonio, the school focuses on equipping men and women for bicultural ministry with emphasis on Latino culture.
Children’s Emergency Relief International, a non-profit organization committed to helping hurting children around the world. CERI has programs in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the missions organization through which Woodland supports national and international Baptist missions work.
Palmer Drug Abuse Services, a fellowship of young people, adults and parents who share their experiences to help themselves and others recover from addictions.
The San Antonio Baptist Association, a cooperative association of area Baptist churches who do missions and ministry together.
The San Antonio Rescue Mission, which serves homeless men in the downtown area of San Antonio by providing emergency shelter, a warm meal, Bible study and other resources.
