The Street Eats mission project at VBS was a great success! Street eats are gallon-sized Ziploc bags containing convenience foods that can be handed out from your car as the need arises. The idea came about as a desire to help people we pass on the street who are hungry or homeless.

Your family can continue to make and distribute your own Street Eats Bags!

Just place the following items in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag:

• bottled water
• granola bar
• pop top cans of fruit
• applesauce or box of raisins
• small can of Vienna sausages
• packaged peanut butter or cheese crackers
• package of cookies or peanuts
• pop top can of chicken or tuna
• plastic spoon
• napkin
• please -- no chocolate or candy
