Grief can be a very powerful and overwhelming experience that changes your life. It is a mixture of pain, confusion, loss of purpose and discovery of new or deeper meaning in life. Often family and friends have trouble understanding the depth of this journey. But it is understanding and compassion that is needed in order to heal and get on with life again.

Life After Loss is a five session psycho-educational program for persons who have recently lost a loved one to death. Participants will learn about normal grieving and will have opportunity to try activities that are designed to help them cope with their own grief. The leader, Karion Krieger , has about 30 years ‘ experience working in the area of grief and loss. The sessions will meet on Sundays from 4-6 p.m. beginning September 18 and ending October 23. We will skip the Sunday of the church picnic. Call Karion @ 830-609-3902 if you need more information.
