UPDATE

We will work 2 shifts at the warehouse on Friday. On Saturday, we will do some landscaping for Buckner Retirement Village (bring some gloves!).

We will have lots of bonding time at the warehouse and at SpeedZone, Whirlyball, & Group Dynamix!

FAQ

Q: Who can go?
A: Youth and college-age students. We need some adults as well.

Q: What are we going to do?
A: Work two shifts at the Shoes for Orphan Souls Warehouse and do landscaping at Buckner Retirement Village.

Q: Is that it?
A: No! We are also going to play Whirlyball, spend some time at Speed Zone, and bond as a group at Group Dynamix.

Q: What exactly will we be doing at the warehouse?
A: Whatever they need us to do. Possibilities include:

• cutting off price tags
• rubber banding shoes together
• sorting by gender, size, and type
• counting and packing shoes in shipping boxes

Q: What kind of landscaping will we be doing?
A: Whatever they need us to do. Possibilities include:

• raking
• preparing spring flower beds
• yard work

Q: What is Whirlyball?
A: A competitive mix of bumper cars, basketball, and lacrosse. Check out www.whirlyballplano.com.

Q: What is Speedzone? 
A: Park with several different go cart tracks. Check out www.speedzone.com/site/Dallas. We will have 3 hours of unlimited racing and video/simulator games, 18 holes of miniature golf, all you can eat pizza buffet and soft drinks.

Q: What is Group Dymanix?
A: A place where will will engage in some extreme bonding time.

Q: Will meals be provided?
A: You will need to bring money for most meals.

Q: Can I invite friends?
A: Of course!
