FIBROMYALGIA AND CHRONIC FATIGUE SUPPORT GROUP
Joe Shelton leads a Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Support Group that meets at Woodland each month. The goal of the group is to provide a setting for those with these diseases to receive both information and support. The groups deals with such issues as diet, exercise, drugs, sleep, massage, positive thinking, alternative treatments, etc. The group also endeavors to ease the isolation and loneliness that often accompanies these diseases. The next meeting will be Saturday, May 22, at 1:30 pm at the church.

This service, led by Rich Rathbun, will consist of Taize’ music, silence, scripture reading, a short meditation on the scripture, and The Lord’s Supper.
Woodland Baptist Church provides opportunities for all ages in all stages of life.
1. Why do the ministers wear robes?
Woodland’s minister wear robes in worship because the robe is a symbol of reverence, humility, and respect for Christian tradition.
2. What does it mean that Woodland is “ a CBF church?”
Several years ago, Woodland chose to sever ties with the Southern Baptist Convention. Woodland is now affiliated with the cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF), the Baptist General Convention of Texas, and the San Antonio Baptist Association.
3. How does Woodland serve the world?
